I checked Peter’s Meat Market on the north side. It also carries fish. This is what I found:
-Frozen shrimp and haddock from China.
-Fresh Canadian scallops, mussels and haddock.
- Frozen Canadian Boston bluefish
I asked where the fresh haddock was caught and was told it was "from" Nova Scotia. I repeated the question “where was the haddock caught”? The reply… “Well, it’s Canadian”.
Why is this question so difficult to answer?

Awesome blog, I love what you're doing. I live in Quesnel, B.C. In the summer we get organic veg and honey from local farms, but in winter...which is VERY long... everything is from the supermarket. Very tired looking vegetables. They just LOOK exhausted from their journey up from Mexico. Not very appetizing....
